Easter Glentore Farm is a 100-acre farm in rural North Lanarkshire which enjoys sweeping views over the owners' farmland. Located in a scenic setting on the B803 between the villages of Greengairs and Slamannan. Main motorway links can be reached in minutes which mean you can visit Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Falkirk in about half an hour. A visit to the nearby Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel at the Helix park is a must.
The farmhouse dates back to 1705 and has been modernised to offer 2 kingsize bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. Each bedroom has a Freeview TV, silent fridge, radio alarm and tea/coffee making facilities with shortbread. All the accommodation is on the ground floor. Elsie's home baking is served on arrival with your choice of tea or coffee. In the mornings, guests can choose from a Continental breakfast or full Scottish cooked breakfast including local sausage, bacon, haggis, potato scones, fried bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and eggs. Easter Glentore is an excellent touring base for the cities of Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh, but is also just a short drive from the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and the Pentlands. The Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel and the Antonine Wall are all nearby. It is also close to many Outlander filming locations such as Blackness Castle and Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway. Stirling Castle and Bannockburn are just 16 miles away. There's wildlife in abundance in the local country parks, John Muir Way and the Falls of Clyde Visitor Centre (operated by the Scottish Wildlife Trust). Within a 10-mile radius, there are 6 golf courses.
