Dalgreine offers 3 elegantly furnished bedrooms which all have generous hospitality trays, luxurious toiletries, bathrobes and TVs with Freeview, Freesat and Freeplay (for those with youtube, Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts) plus a built-in DVD player. There are 2 superking double rooms which can also be configured as twin beds (both with ensuite shower), as well as an ensuite kingsize room overlooking the garden. Dalgreine has a guest lounge situated at the end of the upstairs hall where guests can relax and make use of the Lavazza coffee machine.
Enjoy a variety of hot and cold dishes including a full cooked Scottish breakfast with Perthshire bacon, local sausages, haggis or black pudding. Lighter options can include Scrambled Egg with Smoked Salmon, Eggs Benedict and Avocado Toast. Breakfast options also feature a selection of hot drinks, juices, smoothies, cereals, porridge, fruit and yoghurt, as well as bread from Blair Atholl Watermill. If you are in a rush, there's Breakfast to Go options too. For those heading out on the hills, your hosts can provide a delicious packed lunch for £8.
Your hosts John and Rhona are happy to help you get the most out of your stay. The area is perfect for outdoor activities including golf, fishing, hill walking, white water rafting, mountain biking and cycling. You can even try out the Zip Wire and Bungee Jump at Killiecrankie where the world record was set in 2022. Dalgreine offers secure storage for bikes and golf clubs.
Situated only 2 miles from the A9, it's just 7 miles from Pitlochry with its famous Festival Theatre as well as the Dam and Fish Ladder. Your hosts can recommend plenty of places to dine out in the vicinity.
The surrounding area has numerous whisky distilleries offering guided tours and many historic houses within driving distance such as Blair Castle, Castle Menzies, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and Balhousie Castle (the Black Watch Museum).
With its central location, you can easily visit Dundee, Royal Deeside or the Trossachs. Dalgreine is also conveniently situated for exploring north to the Cairngorms National Park, Loch Ness and the Highlands.
