  • Angus Coastal Route - from the city of Dundee with all its museums to the Granite city of Aberdeen, you can enjoy the spectacular coastline and countryside of the eastern corner of Scotland (68 miles). Historic attractions include Dunnottar Castle, Arbroath Abbey and the House of Dun.

  • Fife Coastal Route - follow the Firth of Forth coastline from the Kincardine Bridge to the Tay Bridge via picturesque historic towns and harbours including the Royal Burgh of Culross, Dunfermline, Anstruther, Crail and St Andrews (77 miles). Explore the history of the Kingdom of Fife with museums including the Scottish Fisheries Museums and World Golf Museum, or take a boat trip.

  • Fife 191 - travel 191 miles around the Kingdom of Fife on this new trail launched in 2023. This circular route takes in the countryside and coastline with pretty villages, vibrant towns, historic attractions, museums, art studios, wildlife, iconic TV & film locations, as well as local food & drink.

  • Argyll Coastal Route - from Tarbet in Argyll via lochs and glens, through Oban and on to Fort William in the Highlands, this is a majestic drive along the west coast of Scotland (129 miles). Great for exploring the Glorious Gardens of Argyll, ruined castles, standing stones and local seafood.

  • Forth Valley Tourist Route - this 43-mile stretch between Edinburgh and Stirling is packed with attractions including the Antonine Wall, The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. Historic places to visit include Blackness Castle, Linlithgow Palace, The Battle of Bannockburn visitor centre and Stirling Castle. Take a boat trip under the Forth Bridges or a ride on the Bo'ness and Kinneil vintage railway.

  • Clyde Valley Tourist Route - this short route between Abington and Hamilton south of Glasgow covers 38 miles. Discover the Falls of Clyde wildlife reserve and the New Lanark Visitor Centre (one of Scotland's 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites). Other highlights include Craignethan Castle and Chatelherault Country Park.
