Scotland has plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities such as walking, mountain biking, cycling, golf, fishing, horse riding, watersports, snowsports and much more. The season for skiing and other snowsports depends on the weather and the amount of snow, but can get started in January or February at Glencoe Mountain Resort, the Nevis Range, Cairngorm Mountain, Glenshee and the Lecht.
