Spean Lodge

Spean Lodge is a stylish and luxurious 18th century lodge situated in the village of Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands.

Surrounded by stunning landscapes of rugged mountains and serene lochs, Spean Lodge is offers a tranquil setting which is the perfect retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. 

This charming property has 3 individually designed guest rooms (1 double, 1 twin, 1 family/triple). All rooms have ensuite bathroom, complimentary toiletries, garden views, TV, hairdryer, quality bed linen, WiFi, tea & coffee, etc. The spacious family room features a kingsize double for 2 adults and a small double bed for 2 children. 
Guests can relax in the lounge with log fire in winter or explore the 2 acres of garden, originally landscaped by a gardener from Kew Gardens with a wide variety of trees and shrubs. 

A full Scottish breakfast featuring local ingredients is cooked to order and lighter options are also available. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room with a log fire overlooking the garden. 
Your hosts take pride in offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and strive to create a memorable experience for every guest. 
Two luxurious 2-bed self catering apartments are also available for longer stays and one is dog friendly.

Location

Spean Lodge is the ideal base for exploring Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK, Glencoe, The Great Glen and Loch Ness. Known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK, Lochaber has much to offer the outdoor enthusiast with activities at the Nevis Range range, as well as mountain biking, hill walking, fishing, watersports and wildlife watching. 

Local heritage sites include the famous Spean Bridge Commando Memorial, the Glenfinnan Monument and the site of the first skirmish of the Jacobite Uprising. At Banavie, Neptune's Staircase is a picturesque series of locks on the Caledonian Canal. The Jacobite Steam Train which runs from Fort William to Mallaig is a unique way to experience the Glenfinnan Viaduct (famous for its appearance in the Harry Potter films). 

Facilities in Spean Bridge include restaurants, shops, a 9-hole golf course and railway station on the scenic West Highland Line. As 'the crossroads of the Highlands', this picturesque village offers easy access in all directions to the natural beauty of the Highlands. Day excursions by car can include the Isle of Skye, Strathspey and the Cairngorms National Park.
