Scotland's Best B&Bs
Scotland’s Best B&Bs is a unique collection of handpicked small B&Bs with members across the country.

1. The Promoter
The prize draw promoter is Scotland's Best B&Bs, c/o Newton Farm Holidays, Newton of Fothringham Farm, Inverarity, Angus DD8 2JU.
2. The Prize Draw
2.1. Entry into the prize draw via our website is completed by providing your contact details to sign up to the Scotland's Best B&Bs newsletter mailing list.
2.3. The winner of the Main Prize will win a 3-night stay, on a Bed & Breakfast basis, for 2 people sharing a room, at a B&B of their choice selected from the Scotland's Best B&Bs website (subject to availability).
2.3.2. The reservation by the winner must be made with one of the individual B&Bs listed on the Scotland's Best B&Bs website before 15 February 2023 and their stay must be taken before 30 November 2023.
2.4. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
3. How to Enter
3.1. Entry into the prize draw will run from 1st January 2023 to 5pm on Wednesday 18th January 2023 (the 'Closing Date').
3.2. All prize draw entries must be received by Scotland's Best B&Bs by no later than 4.59pm on the Closing Date. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3. To enter the prize draw, entrants must fill out the form and provide your contact details.
3.4. There is no entry fee for entering the prize draw.
3.5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, deleted or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
3.6. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
3.7. By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Eligibility
4.1. Entry is open to anyone except those listed in clause 4.2.
4.2. Employees and members (and their immediate families) of Scotland's Best B&Bs are not eligible to enter.
4.3. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
4.4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Scotland's Best B&Bs may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
4.5. There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
5. Winners
5.1. The decision of Scotland's Best B&Bs is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
5.2. The winner will be drawn on Thursday 19th January 2023.
The winner of the Main Prize will be the first entry drawn at random from all entries received after the prize draw closes.
5.3. The winner will be notified by email by Scotland's Best B&Bs within 48 hours of the Closing Date.
Failure to respond within 7 days of having been notified of winning a prize will result in forfeiture of the prize. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner using the email address they provided on entry to the prize draw.
5.4. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the relevant prize from such winners and pick a replacement winner from the remainder of the entries received.
5.5. The winners agree to their name and photograph being used by Scotland's Best B&Bs for publicity purposes.
5.6. Scotland's Best B&Bs must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this legal obligation, Scotland's Best B&Bs will make available the winners' surnames and county of residence if requested by emailing [email protected]. If you object to your name being published or made available, please contact Scotland's Best B&Bs at [email protected]. In such circumstances, Scotland's Best B&Bs must still provide the information and winning entry to the UK Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6. Prizes
6.1. Scotland's Best B&Bs will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner as outlined above.
6.2. The reservation for the Main Prize winner must be made with one of the individual B&Bs which are listed the Scotland's Best B&Bs website before 15 February 2023 and stays must be taken before 30 November 2023.
6.3. Scotland's Best B&Bs does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up your Prize.
6.4. The Main Prize and the voucher prizes are supplied by Scotland's Best B&Bs.
6.5. The Prizes are not negotiable or transferable and there is no cash alternative available.
6.6. Scotland's Best B&Bs does not accept any responsibility for inaccurate prize details being supplied by any third parties.
7. Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure
7.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, Scotland's Best B&Bs will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize.
7.2. Scotland's Best B&Bs shall not be in breach of these terms and conditions nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under these terms and conditions if such delay or failure results from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake (or other natural disaster), epidemic or pandemic, fire, strike or any law or action taken by a government of public authority.
8. Data Protection
Scotland's Best B&Bs will only process your personal information as set out in our privacy notice. The names of the winners of the vouchers and the Main Prize may be shared with the owners of the B&Bs who are members of Scotland's Best B&Bs at the time the prize draw is made.

9. General
9.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Scotland's Best B&Bs may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
9.2. Scotland's Best B&Bs reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.3. The prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social network.
9.4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Scots law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
