White Rose Tower

A modern take on a traditional Scottish tower house, White Rose Tower is a boutique B&B nestled in tranquil woodland in Ross-shire.

Conveniently situated near the start and end of the North Coast 500 and only 3 miles from the A9, White Rose Tower is ideal for accessing the whole of the Highlands. Set in 90 acres of woodland, it provides a scenic and tranquil location from which to explore the east or west coasts. Or you may prefer to simply rest and relax at this adult only B&B which has an air of charm and exclusivity, while offering the comforts of home where your hosts endeavour to accommodate any individual requests.

White Rose Tower has recently undergone a full refurbishment and offers high quality accommodation with 4 beautifully appointed double/twin bedrooms overlooking the garden and surrounding woodland. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor (The Terrace and The Quarters) and 2 bedrooms on the top floor via a spiral staircase (The Chamber and The Study). All the rooms are individually decorated and some feature a claw foot bath in the bedroom.

The house boasts an observatory, spiral staircases, hidden doors, turrets and suits of armour. The Residents' Lounge is an impressive double height, panelled hall where guests are welcome to relax. You can also sit out on the terrace or explore the gardens and woodland. Groups are welcome to celebrate special occasions (no children under 18). An outdoor hot tub is situated in the grounds.

A freshly cooked breakfast can be enjoyed in the morning with sausage, egg, bacon, tomato, mushroom, haggis, black pudding and baked beans. Or you can choose from lighter options such as French Toast or Muffin with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.

Location

Just a few miles off the A9 outside Invergordon, White Rose Tower is ideally located for exploring the Scottish Highlands. Beautiful beaches, stunning walks and lochs are within easy reach. Climb up to see the views from the Fyrish Monument or take a hike up Ben Wyvis. The waterfalls at Rogie and the Falls of Shin are pretty all year round. The RSPB Tollie Red Kites Natural Reserve is located near Dingwall and has stunning views across Easter Ross. The Moray Firth dolphins can be seen on boat trips from Inverness and the Black Isle or from the shore at Chanonry Point.
The picturesque historic towns of Dornoch, Tain and Cromarty are all in the vicinity. Whisky distilleries nearby include Glenmorangie and Glen Ord. Inverness is less than 30 miles away and from there you can explore Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle and Culloden Battlefield.
